Ever wanted to visit outer space?  In 2011, you could!  The company Virgin Galactic is building a space plane that can carry people into the sub-orbit of Earth.  That's the very edge of outer space!

However, you will have to save your money!  Tickets to ride on the space plane will be $200,000 dollars.  Also, many safety tests must happen to make sure the space plane is safe for people.

What will the space plane use for fuel?  Would you like to ride on the space plane?
