Hello students! You will be creating one blog post for your reading and writing assignment for today. Here is a list of steps to get you started:
1) Click on the link on this page that reads "News Bites -- National Geographic Kids".
2) Once you get to the Web site, scroll down and you will see a "Posts by Category" box on the right hand side.
3) Pick the category you are most interested in.
4) Scroll and pick one news bite that you and your partner would like to read about.
5) While you are reading, I'll be passing out a handout that will include four questions for you to answer about the article you have read. The handout will include space for you to write notes about your article.
6) Also, find an image related to your article you would like to put on your blog post.
7) After you have read the article, answered the questions, and found your image, we will go over as a class how to post your answers on a blog post. There is an example of how your blog should look like above the explanation of the lesson. Please post your names and title of your News Bite as your blog title, this will answer the first question.
